Ohhhhh yeeeeah!
If you have this on sprouted bread know it is super dense, packed full of nutrition and really easy to digest! So one slice makes a meal. Here I had the essene bread, but I’ve also tried the rye which is incredible!
This bread is a bit dearer, normally about $9 a loaf from a health food store. But, because you only need the one slice, it lasts 1 week (between two people).
I don’t normally do grains and I don’t do gluten since my skin and gut issue, but I have NO reaction to these sprouted grains, which is awesome because they’re so yummy!
Banana, honey and seeded butter snack
Ingredients
- Tahini (sesame seed butter)
- Raw, biodynamic honey
- 1 slice raw sprouted bread (preferably)
- 1/2 Banana
- Chia seeds
- Sea salt
Instructions
1. Slice your bread, and spread honey evenly across the bread.
2. Add equal parts tahini (as honey) on top with a spoon.
3. Slice half a banana and place the pieces on top.
4. Sprinkle chia seeds and salt on top.
The salt is essential. It creates the perfect balance of salty and sweet.
Enjoy 🙂
